Christin Simpson, MSN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience in direct patient care, specializing in holistically responsive healthcare practices (which includes trauma-informed care). Christin is passionate about creating patient-centered systems that prioritize humanity, resilience, and the well-being of both patients and healthcare providers. She has led numerous initiatives to address healthcare gaps, from providing hands-on care to developing comprehensive staff training programs designed to cultivate more empathetic, responsive, and resilient healthcare environments.
Ted Simpson brings over 13 years of experience in community development, health education, and grant management. As a trauma-informed expert and community engagement leader, Ted is dedicated to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. He has a proven track record of fostering healing, addressing community issues , and implementing solutions that create lasting, positive change. His work also includes storytelling through film, most recently highlighting community issues in North St. Louis through a short film he co-wrote called, Vision. Films like these facilitate intentional community dialogues that spark awareness and collaboration for revitalization and transformation within our region.
